JULY

Trafest - 24th, 25th 26th of July

Join in this three day festival in Tramore with National & International acts performing live all around Tramore

Spraoi in the Park - 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th of July

Brand new for 2009, Spraoi will host a 4 day event based in and around The Peoples Park in Waterford. The Spraoi parade will be the highlight of the event also featured will be Levity II Architects of air luminarium structure, flower power an installation by spraoi and the public and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons there will be music and dance to keep everyone entertained. AUGUST

Spraoi Festival - 31st July, 1st & 2nd of August

Held over the August Bank Holiday Weekend, the Spraoi Festival is an annual riot of colour, energy and excitement. It takes over the city centre of Waterford City for 3 days, transforming the streets & quays into a giant stage for acts from all over the world. And it's all free! It features street art, live music, dance and theatre and also features Sprog for the younger festival goers.

Bluegrass Festival - 28th, 29th, 30th of August

 Irelands biggest free bluegrass festival takes place throughout the village of Dunmore East with groups from the US & UK as well as plenty of Irish performers. The bands will be playing over 50 gigs in 6 indoor and outdoor venues throughout the town

Summer Racing in Tramore - 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th of August

The August Festival promises to be the highlight of the summer season in Waterford with over four days of sponsored races, fashion and serious socialising.Every year the festival provides entertainment, both on and off the track, for all from the racing entheusiast to the complete novice. SEPTEMBER

Waterford Fringe Festival - 18th to 27th September

The Waterford Fringe Festival is an annual multi disciplinary Arts Festival. This year it will have a varied programme of Visual Art, featuring a mix of international and local artists, Drama, including Irish Premieres of overseas work, Music, Comedy and Special Fun and Family Events
